Prevention is the first step towards a healthy digestive system. Many gastrointestinal conditions, including ulcers, polyps, and early-stage cancers, show minimal or no symptoms in the initial stages. Regular health checkups help detect these conditions early, ensuring timely treatment and better outcomes.
- Advanced screening tools like endoscopy, colonoscopy, and imaging.
- Early detection of acid reflux, ulcers, polyps, IBD, liver disorders, and more.
- Personalised risk assessments based on age, family history, and lifestyle.

Up to 60% of serious digestive diseases can be prevented or treated effectively if caught early.
Surgery and medication are not always the first solution. Our Nutrition & Wellness services focus on lifestyle, diet, and non-invasive interventions to manage or even reverse certain GI conditions before they require medical or surgical care.
- Address root causes through diet and lifestyle
- Reduce the risk of disease progression
- Improve digestive comfort, energy, and overall health

Urologist FAQs
When should I see a Urologist?
You should visit a urologist if you experience blood in urine, painful urination, frequent UTIs, kidney stones, difficulty controlling your bladder, prostate issues, or any concerns related to your urinary or reproductive system.
What are the common symptoms of kidney stones?
Severe pain in the side and back below the ribs, pain that radiates to lower abdomen and groin, pain during urination, pink, red, or brown urine, cloudy or foul-smelling urine, frequent urge to urinate, and nausea and vomiting.
How are urinary tract infections treated?
UTIs are treated with antibiotics prescribed based on the type of bacteria causing the infection. Our specialists also investigate underlying causes of recurrent UTIs and create prevention plans.
What is the difference between a urologist and a nephrologist?
A urologist treats surgical conditions of the urinary tract and male reproductive system. A nephrologist specializes in medical (non-surgical) kidney diseases, dialysis, and transplant care.
Are kidney stones preventable?
Yes! Drinking 2-3 liters of water daily, reducing salt and animal protein intake, limiting oxalate-rich foods if prone to calcium oxalate stones, maintaining healthy weight, and following prescribed medications can significantly reduce recurrence.
What causes frequent urination?
Frequent urination can be caused by UTIs, overactive bladder, prostate enlargement in men, diabetes, certain medications, excess fluid intake, or neurological conditions affecting bladder function.
How is prostate enlargement diagnosed?
Prostate enlargement is diagnosed through digital rectal examination, PSA blood test, urine flow studies, ultrasound imaging, and urodynamic testing to assess bladder function.
What are minimally invasive urology procedures?
Minimally invasive procedures include laparoscopic surgery, robotic-assisted surgery, ureteroscopy, PCNL for kidney stones, and laser treatments. These offer faster recovery, less pain, and minimal scarring compared to traditional open surgery.
